British Army Wireless Sets No. 62 MKII


Designed and produced by Pye Ltd in Cambridge,
WS62 had a long life. First set was produced early in 1944.
The WS62 was in production until 1966.
Frequency range is 1.6 to 10.0 MHz.
Output power is 1 Watt.
The radio is powered by 12 Volt with an internal dynamotor.

As you can see, this radio is completely different from the German radios.
Both construction methods and components are different.
