NILSEN TRANCEIVER




Nilsens System, Sarbsborg Norway

The Norwegian home guard used mostly German radio equipment after the WW2.
This radio station "NILSEN SETT" is designed in 1950 by Nils Nilsen and Peder Nilsen from Sarbsborg.
It was used by the Norwegian Home Guard.


The NILSEN SETT is mounted in a wooden transport case.

The antenna is a car antenna that is attached to the blank holder.



The empty wooden box with olive green fabric on the outside.



A specially designed plastic microphone is connected directly to the transmitter.

Two DL92 and one DL93 tubes.



The radio technical work and the design is somewhat "amateurish" performed.



The performance of the radio was unsuitable for military field use.
In time, the radios taken out of use.
This appeared when I took over some old radios after a radio amateur..
